Is there a setup fee?

  • Month to month plans have a one-time setup pf $299, annual pricing benefits from a generous discount and no setup fee. Our onboarding team is here to help you get your store online. With our self-service tools, you can manage a state-of-the-art online store with minimal effort. If you can use social media, you can manage your eTailPet site.

Is there a contract?

  • Month to month pricing allows retailers can cancel at any time. Annual terms are available at a discounted rate. We believe in our product. There is no other retail initiative that will give you the kind of return you can get from offering the shopping convenience of being open 24/7.

What if I don’t have a website?

  • That’s great! eTailPet will create a beautiful, mobile-optimized digital storefront for you at no extra cost.

What if I already have a website?

  • You can choose to keep your existing website and simply add a SHOP NOW link to your website that directs your customer to your local shopping pages powered by eTailPet.

But, how do I manage my inventory online?

  • eTailPet was created by an independent pet retailer, for other pet retailers. Whether you have a sophisticated POS and enable a catalog sync through an API or you have no POS, we know all the tricks of the trade and will help find the easiest way for your inventory to go online. 

Do you keep my customer information?

  • It is your customer, your sale! We take this very seriously. You have full access and control over your data. If services are canceled the information is deleted. eTailPet does not and will not advertise or sell your information – ever. For more on this, please check our Terms of Service

How long does it take to get up and running?

  • You can be up and running in as little as 3 business days.

How can I compete with Chewy?

  • eTailPet features robust options like Auto Order & Save and Astro Loyalty integration. Auto Order & Save allows retailers to offer auto-order as an option with or without a discount to your customer. Astro Frequent Buyer is fully integrated so your customers can earn and redeem online with both instore and online purchases. Both of these tools allow retailers to compete and keep pet dollars local, not to mention you can offer what chewy.com cannot, better products and raw, frozen products.

How many orders can I expect?

  • Our goal is for every retailer to get 5 online orders per day, per location. The average online transaction is greater than $85, this means about $13,000 per month in online revenue. Roughly 40% of transactions happen on our platform between 9pm and 9am. This means your customers want to shop when your store is closed. Don’t let them go to chewy.com or amazon. Can I dropship?

  • Yes, we have a partnership with Animal Supply Connect and Wholesalepet.com for direct ship options. Our partnership with WholesalePet allows retailers to offer over 13,000 high margin items curated to be items that cannot be carried in store. Think every collar, leash, stroller, costume, bed. While today you have to turn your customer to online giant to purchase some of these items, tomorrow you can point them to your website to shop for thousands of hard good items.
